The Brainstorming Game
What is Game of Good?
Game of Good is a brainstorming game for World-Changers. The game is simple and you can download it for free.
Each round, one player asks a question from a white card and everyone brainstorms answers with three grey resource cards. The questions are phrased using “How Might We”, the phrase that top innovators use to spur creativity and innovation.
The questions are about actions that could help us reduce emissions, have more compassion for others, live healthier happier lives, and improve education.

Do I have to limit myself to the three resources?
The resource cards are there to give you creative constraints, and help you come up with unusual solutions that you might not otherwise have happened upon. If you find new ideas popping up that use other resources, that’s great too!
Where did you get ideas for resources and challenges?
Lots of places! Special hat tip to OpenIDEO, yes! Magazine, shareable, Grist magazine, Mother jones, Mother Earth News, good.is and Treehugger for inspiration.
What is a HMW Question?
HMW stands for “How might we…” Beginning a question with HMW helps people think creatively and open up to innovative solutions. The phrase is used by Google, Facebook, IDEO and others for this reason. For more on How Might We check out The Phrase that Top Innovators Use on the Harvard Business Review Blog
